Grainne and Sean had a really laid back, intimate and fun wedding with a very cool, chic city vibe. They celebrated with a small intimate ceremony in City Hall followed by a private meal with family and close friends in Fade Street Social and then a big party in The Dean. Their day was bursting with personality and love!

Grainne and Sean met as roommates initially; “I moved into the apartment that Sean was living in and we just clicked immediately. We’d never met or known each other before and we got together officially after the first month. We’ve been living together ever since”. - Grainne

Sean proposed after 13 months and it was a big surprise. “It was a random Saturday that was really sunny so he suggested going for a walk in Powerscourt Gardens which is one of our favourite spots. He got down on one knee and then we had tickets for The National that evening”. - Grainne

On their favourite part of the day…. “Our civil ceremony was so personal. We had readings from our favourite authors and we had music that meant something to us like Bon Iver, Van Morrison and Arcade Fire. We were able to work in words about our story and our family and friends which was really important. I think having a small wedding also felt like we could actually spend quality time with people on the day and take everything in”.
