Mags and Conor's Summer Maryborough Wedding

Conor proposed on a trip to New York in November 2016. “It has always been the place we most love to visit and now we have an extra special reason to return.” Conor and Mags met on a night out in a nightclub through a mutual friend in 2007. They dated ever since and actually got married on their 11th anniversary together.

“We chose the Maryborough Hotel as our wedding venue because it has the most stunning Orangery. After viewing a number of venues, the Orangery was a real wow feature for us. Everything about the venue was exactly what we were looking for - an old country house feel with the convenience of a hotel for all our guests coupled with beautiful grounds.”

On their favourite part of the day: “My favourite part of the day was getting ready in the morning, in the house I grew up in, with my family and best friends all around me. Also, it was such a fantastic feeling walking into the ballroom together as a newly married couple to a room filled with everyone we love.” - Mags. “My favourite part was watching Mags walk up the aisle. It was the moment everything finally came together after months of planning and well, she just looked so beautiful! She was, in typical Mags fashion, half an hour late so I was very glad to see her!” - Conor
