Ciara & Ryan

Druids Glen Resort - 19th May 2017

Ciara and Ryan met each other in UCD in 2007 where they were both studying Business and Law, although it was seven months before they eventually hit it off, 8 years later Ryan popped the question! Ciara was completely taken by surprise during a winter walk in Powerscourt Gardens in December last year. Ryan proposed at the Dolphin pond, which at the time he claimed was a wishing well. For Ciara, it was just perfect!

Ciara and Ryan chose a charming little church in Curtlestown, Co. Wicklow to get married in with views over the Wicklow mountains. So we didn't have to go very far to find a beautiful little spot for photos! Ciara and Ryan celebrated at the Druids Glen resort - "we had a lot of guests traveling quite far to be at our wedding and so we wanted a venue that could accommodate a large number staying overnight - for that reason we decided a hotel venue was perfect for us. We chose Druids Glen because of its 5 star reputation, excellent staff and superb food. Nessa, Naomi and the rest of the team our amazing".

The highlight of the day for Ciara was walking up the aisle arm in arm with her very emotional Dad and seeing the faces of all her friends and family, not to mention Ryan at the top of the altar!

This pair were some craic - we had fun all day long! And we left it on a high with a dance floor full of guests bopping away to the 90's tracks. This wedding was SO MUCH FUN!! Thank you Ciara and Ryan for being absolute starts on the day.
