Ina & Rory's Conyngham Arms wedding

“What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life –

to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories.” (Mary Ann Evans aka George Eliot)

Recently I blogged Ina and Rory's photo shoot in Phoenix Park - I was so in love with their style!! You can see that post here. Now, here is their wedding day... This was the first time I've been to Conyngham Arms in Slane and I have to say it is really charming and perfect for a smaller wedding. The House for bridal prep is a short walk across the road and so perfect for photographs. My heart absolutely melted when I saw Ina's Dad walking over to the house with a big bunch of white roses for his daughter. And there wasn't a dry eye in the room when he first saw Ina in her dress! Ina and Rory's children stole the show with their uber cuteness. This was a cold February day but Ina and Rory braved the rain and we went up Slane Hill for some couple portraits. Again, this was a first for me and I was so happy when we reached the ruins at the top of the hill and saw a big bright rainbow across the sky - amazing! Ina and Rory made my job so easy; I love it when brides take out the wellies and don't mind getting stuck in and a little mucky for the sake of great shots.
